Left Leaning Media Attempting to Call the West at Fault for Egyptian Problems

It is precisely good to see that the Egyptian President Mubarak expelled Al Jazeera from the country revoking their press credentials while the riots and chaos in Egypt in January-February of 2012. Many would disagree, but Al Jazeera went a long way in causing the crisis, demonstrations, and protests. That Middle East media outlet was surely an instigator of sorts. But what happened next was less than favorable.

The president of Egypt cut off all Internet links, hoping to curtail communal networking to slow down the protests - this backfired. Interestingly enough, China removed the capability to quest the word Egypt online in their nation, not wishing to give their citizens any bright ideas. Again this might be a mistake for them as well. Meanwhile the challenges from Tunisia to Syria, and some even fear Saudi Arabia have escalated.

London 2012

What's unfortunate about all this is that much of the Middle Eastern media is now blaming the Usa for some of these problems. And as all the time that hurts our credibility and furthers the divide between our cultures. They are claiming that the Us helped Mubarak stay in power for nearly 3-decades, but of course, the Us has to be kindly to all regimes, either good or bad.

An acquaintance from London, England tells me that "The World is watching and hypocrisy will no longer stand."

But, the only hypocrisy I see is a backwards thinking that somehow believes that women are lesser individuals. That people can hide behind religion, and lie to their people, telling them that somehow that is the way things should be, that it's the right way to run a society. That's the hypocrisy I see. I precisely don't see any from where the United States of America stands, we are great nation.

If Egypt follows our lead in the Us, our way of freedom, then they will consequent beyond their wildest dreams, if not, well, the people will suffer, which precisely is too bad. Thus, we need to be here for them, when they need us. I think we are willing to do that, I feel a sense of proximity with our nation's resolve. There is no hypocrisy in the Us when we say we want the people of Egypt to be free, we do, that's all we've ever wanted for them.

Indeed, I hope you will please reconsider all this and totally reject the Al Jazeera comments that the West is to blame for the civil unrest in Egypt.
